So, the good folk of the University of Melbourne’s Turkish Society, and the University of Melbourne’s History Society are screening The Water Diviner movie tonight. Seemed to think I might have something to contribute on the subject! So I’m doing a Q&A after the screening.
Sigh. Good times.
Funny thing with stories you’ve written… moments like these feel like a reunion with old, and very dear, friends. Spending time on the sidelines as Russell Crowe did his thing as star and director of the film was an extraordinary experience.
As for writing the book – it changed my life. In a good way.
